Job Summary

Online Marketing Specialists within our company will be responsible for interacting with existing clients as well as leads. This will include providing technical support for clients' existing websites and online marketing services. A strong ability to evaluate and identify issues and weaknesses with a business's online presence with the knowledge and confidence to offer prudent and strategic online marketing and advertising solutions currently offered by our company is essential. This will require a powerful understanding and extensive experience in: social media marketing and advertising, organic and local search, reputation management, paid search engine and display advertising, re-targeting, lead capture, email marketing and more.


  • Consistently and effectively communicate via phone and email with clients to understand his/her business and marketing goals.

  • Advise clients on web marketing, social media and SEO best practices.

  • Review website, social media and reputation analytics with the client and advise the client on strategy.

  • Identify and isolate underperforming client marketing programs and work with the client and production team to optimize and meet client's expectations.

  • Offer additional marketing services to clients to help them achieve their goals.

  • Use existing CRM effectively to manage assigned clients.

  • Use existing CRM to clearly document all communications with clients, internal teams and outside service providers for effective project management.

  • Grow your client book of business through strategic digital marketing consulting to help grow the client’s business.


  • Bachelor's Degree in General Business, Economics, Finance, Marketing, Advertising, Public Relations, Journalism, English or the equivalent experience.

  • 3+ years of B2B marketing, consultative sales and account management experience

  • 2+ years of marketing experience, preferably with an in-house creative department or agency focusing on local businesses.

  • Experience with website analytic tools. (Google Analytics, Google Adwords, Google Search Console, Google My Business, SpyFu, WebTrend, Etc.)

  • Understanding of local, organic and paid search best practices.

  • Understanding of Social Media Marketing best practices.

  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.

  • Excellent time management skills.

  • Understanding of website and landing page conversion optimization.

  • Basic understanding of HTML and CSS.

The following are not required but are considered a plus.

  • Experience with popular online marketing tools such as MOZ or SEMRush.

  • Google Adwords Certification.

  • Google Analytics Certification.

  • Experience with Reputation Management.

  • Experience with A/B and multivariate testing.

  • Local Search Optimization experience.

  • Experience with leading content strategy

  • Technical understanding of local and organic SEO. (301 redirects, robots.txt, backlinks, NAP, citations, Etc.)
