Sales Representative and Product Specialist

We are seeking a Sales Representative and Product Specialist to join our team! This position will drive sales with the goal of meeting and exceeding sales goals/targets. This individual will support the team by tracking, investigating, and reporting sales information and resolving problems. Account management with clear communication with clients is essential.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Act as first point of contact for sales engagement via phone, email, and in-person meetings
  • Provides product, promotion, and pricing information by clarifying customer request, selecting appropriate information, forwarding information and answering questions
  • Updates Inside Sales Manager by consolidating, analyzing, and forwarding sales report summaries, utilizing Salesforce dashboards
  • Will work in close liaison with other internal departments; sales operations, marketing, customer service to assure sales functions
  • Act as a Delta Separations product expert
  • Provide technical sales presentations and training to customers
  • Exercise discretion and independent judgment with respect to customer relations
  • Maintain Salesforce database by creating and updating customer files, dashboards and reports
  • Resolve any potential order problems by investigating data and history, working with other internal departments and notifying managers and customers
  • Resolve promotional allowance, rebate, and pricing discrepancies by researching promotion details and regular and special prices, then forwarding resolution to managers
  • Drive sales to reach and exceed sales goals/targets
  • Attend industry tradeshows
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications

  • Proven Sales and Customer Service experience required
  • Job Related product industry knowledge and/or experience in plant biomass, cannabis, or nutraceuticals
  • A strong ability to communicate verbally and in writing
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience using Salesforce and/or other CRM platforms
  • Extraction and processing experience desired
  • Willingness to travel, as required
  • Must be available to work on-premises in Cotati, California
