Job Description

 Our Client, a Fortune 200 Corporation based in Sugar Land, TX has an  Immediate Opportunity for a Technical/Managerial Lead overseeing an Enterprise Data Management/Data Visualization project with PowerBI.  Selected resource will be on a  long-term contract basis; working remotely and eventually to Sugar Land HQ.

The selected resource will have a progressive career culminating to a Technical / Managerial Lead capacity on specific Data Visualization and Business Intelligence projects within a Large/Complex Corporate IT environment.  Agile project experience; ability to keep project initiatives in priority focus and assigning resources accordingly.  Comfortable reporting to Management/Technical/Leadership with succinct and clear communication, focused, results oriented, and accountable.  Acting as an agent of technical progress, you will interact with key stakeholders across the Enterprise, particularly within Enterprise Architecture & Data Management teams, providing consultative strategy, business planning, KPI development, initiatives for analysis, and operational optimization. Ongoing projects are actively Collecting and Presenting data and analysis, Creating dashboards and scorecards to identify drivers and create strategic recommendations. 

• Provide consultative insight and actionable items, guiding team’s productivity and keeping team accountable.
• Support project initiatives with relevant evidence of project trajectory, evangelize, educate and hold stakeholders and team accountable in their design and interpretation of project roadmap.
• Accountable to the quality of project output

• Ensures all business requirements and stakeholder objectives are met.
• Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
• Whiteboard/Present to Leadership
• Interfaces with data architecture team, BI Dev Team, Management Team and troubleshoots project roadmap.
• Accustomed to Corporate projects calling for Optimizing Large/Complex/Disparate Datasets
• Engaged Business Problem Solver

Technical Requirements
• Proven oversight experience with  relational database and data warehouse experience, understanding of IBM Netezza, SQL server, Oracle and Snowflake.
• Proven project history with Advanced Power BI skill set with advanced DAX, Power Query and sql queries.
• Proven Implementation of Value Adding Data Visualization Design and Best Practices.
• Leading projects involved with ETL Data Preparation – Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) Data with a firm understanding of how to shape datasets using a mixed environment.

Education Level: Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent
Field of Study: Information Sciences, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics
Years' Experience: Generally, requires 7-15 years related experience.

The Employee Benefits Specialis reports to the Administrator, Operations Management in the Employee Benefits Unit and assists in the administration and maintenance of a variety of employee benefits programs. These programs include medical, dental, vision insurance; group life; prepaid legal; short-term disability; cancer care; dependent care; flexible benefits; deferred compensation; COBRA, and other programs. Responsibilities Will oversee all aspects of the employee benefit programs including developing, recommending, and manage the various benefits and wellness programs and systems. Conduct surveys as needed, researching, and recommending new or modified programs ensuring maximum coverage and value. Act as a direct contact with insurers, vendors, agency HR representatives, employees, and retirees for service issues, problem resolution, and technical support. Prepare correspondence including letters, rate charts, and forms including COBRA, deferred compensation, life, and health benefits rate schedules (active and retirees) for distribution Must remain current on trends and regulations related to the benefits industry and demonstrate progressively more responsible experience administering such programs.
