Work you ll do/Responsibilities

This role serves as the Logistics Sourcing and Category Managementinterface with the stakeholders both internally and externally. This roleprovides Sourcing expertise, and day to day management for assignedcategories/Subcategories and assigned category teams.

  • {PS..7}->- -{PS..8}->Develop andexecute logistics sourcing initiatives, in support of the overall programsavings plan within the following sub-categories: Truckload, LTL, Parcel,Ocean, Warehouse, express, and logistics services
  • {PS..9}->- -{PS..10}->Represent thought leadership and adeep understanding of category cost drivers and market intelligence
  • {PS..11}->- -{PS..12}->Develop and own LogisticsSourcing process efforts and associated key stakeholder relationships
  • {PS..13}->- -{PS..14}->Ensure identifiedsavings is realized by monitoring monthly compliance and leading correctiveaction efforts
  • {PS..15}->- -{PS..16}->Identify, lead,and implement ongoing continuous cost improvement initiatives.

Qualifications
Required
  • {PS..23}-> -{PS..24}->Master s in businessadministration and or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration,Operations Management, Supply Chain, Procurement, Business Process Management,STEM, Analytics, Information Technology, or equivalent experience
  • {PS..25}-> -{PS..26}->6-10 years of experience in sourcing, supplier management, category management orindustry Deep experience with category knowledge of Logistics/TransportationsServices Sourcing
  • {PS..27}-> -{PS..28}->Proventrack record of leading sourcing teams to success implementing and deliveringlarge strategic sourcing projects
  • {PS..29}-> -{PS..30}->Ability to forge meaningfulrelationships with direct and indirect resources, producing resultscollaboratively
  • {PS..31}-> -{PS..32}->Experience developing accurate andwell-defined Logistics Category Savings Plans
  • {PS..33}-> -{PS..34}->Experience delivering processimprovements to enhance savings opportunities
  • {PS..35}-> -{PS..36}->Ability to manage work to qualityand timeliness standards
  • {PS..37}-> -{PS..38}->Developing People (coaching toimprove against competency models, highly developed IDP plans, promotionaccording to IDPs, succession plan, low undesirable turnover, high employeesatisfaction)
