As a Senior Network Engineer (Hybrid), you will be a part of the infrastructure team and therefore be responsible for the administration, maintenance, and support of complex private and public-facing networks and systems comprising of, but not limited to: Palo Alto firewalls, Cisco routers & switches, Azure Networking, and Aruba/HPE wireless products. The Senior Network and Firewall Engineer ensures uptime by proactively monitoring the status of the company's network infrastructure and works closely with the Information Security and Enterprise Architecture teams to design, maintain, and enforce security policies.

***Onsite 4-5 days a month/ Flexible Schedule***
  • Administration, patching, and general maintenance of the existing globally deployed infrastructure, including, but not limited to:
    • Palo Alto Firewall (Using Panorama)
    • Cisco Routers
    • Cisco Switches (NX-OS & IOS) (Using Cisco Prime)
  • Administration, upgrades, and patches of other IT infrastructure support platforms as required.
  • Monitoring and reporting on corporate and remote office performance using tools such as SevOne or equivalent.
  • Engineering and configuring complex wired and wireless networking that supports open and secured access, as well as the ability to support voice and video applications using products such as Cisco Prime and Aruba ClearPass.
  • Designing and maintaining multi-site operations supporting a global infrastructure.
  • Participating in the evaluation of new products and technologies to determine those that best meet business needs.
  • Conducting feasibility studies and assessing impacts on existing system configurations. Performing cost/benefit analyses to support recommended technologies.
  • Responding to requests from internal and external customers, service providers, and vendors to provide technical assistance and support when required.
  • Troubleshooting malfunctions of network hardware and security systems to resolve operational issues and restore services.
  • Developing, maintaining, and recommending innovative, and were possible, automated approaches for network administration tasks.
  • Actively participating in the development, implementation, and maintenance of Company Information Security policies and procedures.

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience
  • A minimum of 10 years of related network engineering and security experience
  • Strong network background with TCP/IP, Routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, etc), Layer 3 switching, IDS/IDP
  • Previous experience with Public & Private (RFC 1918) address schemes, firewall policy design, and network traffic analysis required
  • Experience across multiple network engineering topics
  • Microsoft Azure networking experience a strong plus
  • Knowledge of AICPA SOC 1, SOC 2 controls
  • Palo Alto PCNSA certification a plus
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems such as ServiceNow
  • IPv6 knowledge a plus
  • Excellent documentation and Visio skills
  • Strong understanding of highly available, redundant network design
  • Firm grasp of VPN and routing technologies
  • Working knowledge of Palo Alto products, including Panorama
  • Solid foundation of Cisco routing and switching products
  • Mastery of network/server infrastructure including protocols & concepts of LDAP, RADIUS, SAML, DNS, Security, IP routing, VPN, Email Routing, 802.1x, etc.
  • Familiarity with Active Directory
  • Ability to communicate and coordinate effectively throughout the organization regarding technical matters
  • Expert understanding of 802.11 protocols and configurations
  • Effective time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail

The salary range for this position is up to $125,000 - $139,000.
Final salary is competitive and commensurate with experience.
