Decton is currently seeking a Customer Service Representative to work for a corporate's manufacturing facility.
Compensation: $17-$20 hourly
To provide customer service support to the organization by obtaining, analyzing and verifying the accuracy of order information in a timely manner. Initiates and/or implements corrective action as needed in order to ensure that an excellent standard of service and a high level of customer satisfaction is maintained. This role reports to the Customer Service Manager.
Key Responsibilities (or Principle Accountabilities):
Professionally handle incoming requests from customers and ensure all issues are resolved and the customer is notified within 24 hours.
Ensuring customer’s purchase orders are entered in SAP within 24 hours of receiving.
Checking all purchase orders to ensure the data entered is at 100% accuracy.
Ensure all customers orders are delivered before or on the delivery date requested by the customer.
Provide all of the consumers’ information necessary to the appropriate sales team member for potential business.
Provide quality service and support in a variety of areas including, but not limited to, billing, orders and troubleshooting.
Thoroughly and efficiently gather customer information, access and fulfill customer needs, educate the customer where applicable to prevent repeated follow up.
Responsible for compiling and generating reports as they relate to customers when needed.
Provide the necessary information to the correct department to get new customer accounts set up in a timely manner.
Process customer returns within 48 hours of receipt from the warehouse so the credit can be given to the customer in a timely manner.
5 years of relevant work experience in Customer Service Representative
Consistent and meticulous attention to details
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
Must have excellent time management skills
SAP knowledge, Outlook, Excel, Microsoft word.
Food manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
