Director of E-Commerce Marketing

We are currently searching for a Director of E-Commerce Marketing to join the DecksDirect team! We're looking for someone to re-energize a marketing team. Someone that wants to relentlessly focus on building an extraordinary customer experience. We're looking for someone that wants to obsess about our customers.

We are not looking for someone that only wants to advertise and promote. We are not looking for someone that wants to manage ad spending. We are not looking for someone that wants to obsess about social media.

We're looking for someone that wants to control a total experience. We want someone that wants to refine the entire journey. We want someone that builds value to our customers and potential customers.

Accountabilities:

• Inspire people to build the outdoor living spaces of their dreams
• Control and maintain Brand Standards
• Creative User Experience UX and website User Interface UI (and know the difference)
• Lead, manage, develop and hold accountable a high-performing marketing team

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute marketing strategies, campaigns, and programs to increase overall brand awareness, drive traffic, grow sales and deliver ROI.
• Transform website from exclusive e-commerce to a journey that provides inspiration and aspiration.
• Direct and manage third-party agencies and define appropriate balance for internal vs external agency work.

Education & Experience:

• Degree in Marketing, Communications or Business-Related field
• 8+ years of work experience in a marketing leadership position, preferably with an E-Commerce brand
• Experience with an E-Commerce platform - Magento preferred.
