Senior Consultant (Digital Health Strategy)

Job Title: Senior Consultant
Type of Position: Full time, 40 hours/week
Reports to: Co-Founder and Principal at Decimal.health

We create and implement strategies for digital health companies to launch & grow business & maximize their impact on helping people live their healthiest lives. We work primarily with startups and emerging HealthTech companies, other consulting firms, provider systems as well as pharmaceutical and medical device companies

What The Role Is:

The Senior Consultant will be a key player in developing strategies as well as help implementing those strategies in the market for Decimal.health clients. This includes understanding unmet needs the client’s technology could solve, designing processes and products to match those unmet needs, as well as creating strategies to commercialize these products. Once launched, we also help execute the go-to-market strategy and enable the product’s commercial success in the market.

Specific Responsibilities of the Senior Consultant:

Strategy Consulting:

1. Lead and manage strategy development for a wide range of digital health products and services, including clinical use case development, go-to-market strategies, digital transformation strategies as well as regulatory and validation strategies, as appropriate

2. Develop deliverables, including slide decks, reports, protocols and other types of presentations as required for clients

3. Work with other Decimal.health consultants and analysts to guide and oversee their work to ensure successful completion and delivery of strategies to clients

Client Management:

1. Manage client relationships on projects that they are senior consultants on, including collaborating with the client to understand their needs, and setup processes and touchpoints to ensure consistent communication and expectation setting on a regular basis

2. Work with other Decimal.health team members and guide their work on these projects, and oversee any communication between team members and clients

3. Assist in developing client proposals and budgets for new projects, including attending exploratory and pitch meetings with potential clients

Strategy Implementation:

1. Develop an operational plan to execute on go-to-market or digital transformation strategies on an ongoing basis for clients, including finding strategic partnerships, lead generation and management, lead closure activities and new client onboarding

2. Plan and build capacity and efforts within Decimal.health’s clients, to ensure client success after Decimal’s support ends

You are extremely passionate about changing the way healthcare is being delivered today. You are driven by an internal motivation to change the traditional systems of healthcare using digital products and positively impact lives. You have gained a ton of experience in navigating the health system and its myriad of stakeholders. You understand the facilitators and barriers for digital health adoption by providers and patients in the US. You can’t wait to start using this experience in creating implementable strategies, setting up operations and executing on those strategies to bring about the change to help people live healthier lives.

What You Bring:

Education and Experience:

• MBA and 5+ years of experience working in digital health consulting, OR

• Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years of work experience in digital health consulting

  Capacity to travel:

• You have the ability and capacity to travel as needed for client site meetings, conferences, etc. [Due to COVID-19, all travel is stopped until further notice]

Presentation and Client Management Skills:

• You are a methodical, thorough, and detail-oriented consultant and believe in critically reviewing everything you hear and read. You love analyzing data to help build evidence-based strategies

• You are able to look at the client’s big picture as well as current context to manage the projects as well as the relationships

• One of your core strengths is to clearly articulate and communicate complex ideas and information verbally, visually and in written format to clients. You are skilled in creating engaging presentations and reports as project deliverables
