Job Description:

The Territory Sales Director (TSD) is an individual contributor role. The TSD will manage sales and business development activities within the assigned territory of their regional responsibility. The TSD will develop their territory through prospecting and market development, product demonstration, and negotiating and closing deals. This position requires high energy and highly motivated individuals who have demonstrated success selling software and marketing services in a B2B environment. This is a fully remote position reporting to the Regional Sales Director.

Essential Functions:

  • Represent DealerOn’s industry leading product/service suite to automotive and power sports dealers across the U.S.
  • Facilitate the dealer purchase decision to achieve sales objectives and create new customer relationships
  • Create daily prospecting and development activity, and maintain a deal pipeline of active, late stage deals
  • Input activity information into DealerOn CRM (Salesforce) daily, capturing;
    • All prospecting calls, dealer demos and deal activity
    • Dealer key contact information
  • Deliver quality sales that are easily implemented and supported to meet revenue goals
  • Proactively prospect, develop, and grow territory

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of B2B sales experience in digital marketing platforms, services, and/or SaaS
  • Ability to engage dealer customers and understand their needs and drivers for purchase
  • Ability to deliver powerful presentations tailored to the dealers’ value drivers
  • Excellent attention to detail, especially with communication (written and verbal), follow-through, and meeting deadlines
  • Proficient in Excel, Microsoft Word, Powerpoint, and Outlook
  • Understanding of Dig Ad/SEM, SEO, and digital marketing tools and tactics

Preferred Skills/Experience:

  • 5+ years of automotive B2B sales experience
  • 3+ years of digital marketing advertising and software sales experience
  • Track record of success in selling and servicing customers
  • Ability to prioritize tasks that change frequently and manage unexpected demands
