Dealer Trade Network is a Louisville-based organization that provides inventory solutions to new car dealers. We’ve formalized the new car wholesale trading market, digitizing transactions and technologies that assist with inventory efficiency optimization for their floor plans. Our proprietary solutions make it easier and more convenient for dealerships to wholesale inventory nationwide.
This role involves coordinating and managing marketing campaigns, creating content, conducting market research, and coordinating events and webinars. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, experience in executing marketing campaigns, and extra points for having a passion for the automotive industry. This full-time role will help execute Dealer Trade Network’s marketing initiatives through some or all of the following: web and social content development, graphic design, direct email marketing copywriting, ad copywriting, digital and print collateral, event planning, and additional efforts as they arise. The ideal candidate will be capable of researching and ingesting various data and effectively using it to tell an engaging and informative story.
Responsibilities
- Manage the company's email marketing program, including creating and executing email campaigns, managing subscriber lists, and tracking campaign performance using email marketing tools.
- Coordinate and manage various marketing campaigns, including email, social media, and online advertising.
- Create and distribute marketing content such as blog posts, white papers, and case studies to promote the company's services.
- Assist with website management and maintenance, ensuring content is up-to-date and accurate.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to stay up-to-date on industry trends and identify opportunities for growth.
- Assist with coordinating events, webinars, and conferences to promote the company's services.
- Collaborate with the sales team to support their efforts and ensure consistent messaging across all marketing channels.
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, making data-driven recommendations for future improvements.
Special Skills
- Ability to create and execute successful marketing campaigns
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Microsoft Excel
- Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience with digital marketing, including email, social media, and online advertising
- Knowledge of website management and maintenance
- Ability to conduct market research and competitive analysis
- Knowledge and understanding of marketing automation tools such as HubSpot or Marketo.
- Passion for and knowledge of the automotive industry is a plus.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or related
- SEO certification is preferred but not required
- 1 year of marketing experience within the automotive industry is highly preferred but not required
