Sales Agent

DeSantis & Associates, an Allstate Insurance Agency with two locations in Calcutta, OH and East Liverpool, OH and looking to open a Columbiana, OH location. Currently both offices serve three states; Ohio, Pennsylvania and West Virginia.

We are currently seeking a licensed professional for a full time position.  This position features a base salary, monthly commissions, and additional bonuses.  We offer the right candidate a CAREER path, not just another agency job. 

No experience is required, however our ideal candidate will be personable, trustworthy, goal-orientated, will have a great work ethic and excellent communication skills.  Opportunity for advancement includes future promotion to leadership roles and career path with potential for agency ownership opportunities.  Licensed Professionals may earn between $35,000-$55,000 annually depending on performance.

• Develop insurance quotes, makes sales presentations, and closes sales.
• Ask each customer for referrals and explain our referral program.
• Prospecting and generating new business through leads & referral sources.
• Foster strong relationships with our customers to maintain a high level of client retention and product loyalty.
• Presents and explains insurance policy options based upon prospective client needs and their personal goals.

• Driven and goal-oriented individual.
• Ability to tactfully handle stressful and difficult situations.
• Be capable of handling customer rejection.
• Be able to obtain or currently possess a property & casualty insurance license.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Minimum 1 year prior sales experience preferred
