POSITION OVERVIEW

The Business Operations Technician will be a key part of our Operations team.  Working closely with members of IT and will monitor, assign, and process requests as well as troubleshoot necessary systems that are integral to our company.  Youll be joining a team that is passionate (think, geek) about technology, highly results oriented with a curiosity that makes them pay attention to the big picture as well as all the little details.

Areas of responsibility include:
  • Maintaining a strong understanding of Windows and Mac workstations to facilitate troubleshooting and problem resolution.
  • Monitoring and managing the IT Operations Ticketing queue
  • Work directly with end-users, vendors, project managers, subject matter experts and customer support to resolve issues and document solutions
  • Respond to incidents, service requests, change request and monitoring alerts
  • Assist in managing assets throughout their lifecycle
  • Assist in maintain operating environment and systems management tools at industry current levels
  • Maintaining a reliable on-site schedule
  • Additional needs outlined by Management team
  • Quarterly Goals and Objectives
  • Contributing member of uptime and response time SLAs
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Able to work under pressure with accuracy and deliberation
  • Working knowledge of Mac and Microsoft Windows Operating System
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft office applications
  • Basic understanding of networking
  • Break-Fix experience with Computers/Hardware as well as familiarity with preventive maintenance
  • Ability to troubleshoot and take initiative to determine solutions is timely manner
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Prefer experience with Atlassian Suite of products
