Part-Time Research & Development Lab Technician
Corporate Restaurant

Open availability Tuesday -Thursday, 7:00am-5:00pm
(will work 4-10+ hrs per week)
Starts ASAP, $16.00 per hour

Preparing food for the sensory taste panels, in Research & Development. This is an ideal job for students (especially in food science or hospitality), someone working part-time or retirees, who want to make some extra money working for an internationally recognized restaurant chain and earn fantastic incentives. Most importantly, looking for reliability!
What you'll be doing:
- Ability to prioritize multiple, competing tasks
- Can maintain the fast pace required for all panels
- Ability to stand for 5 – 6 hours at a time
- Rapidly assimilates and uses new information and is quick to adapt to new situations/procedures
- General use and knowledge of kitchen equipment (training provided)
- Understands and executes detailed cook and build charts/instructions (training provided)
- Handles all food related products with the highest level of sanitation
- Produces a consistent product throughout the entire duration of a panel to ensure the highest level of accuracy
Who we're looking for:
- Multitasking – Willingness/ability to switch positions and require little follow-up.
- Reliability – Attends all scheduled panels at assigned time. Ability to complete each task without Sensory Team/ R&D Member present.
- Communication – Provide solicited and unsolicited feedback to Sensory Team/ R&D regarding taste panel. This includes any cooking or serving delays, inaccuracy of products served, incorrect product usage, etc.
- Initiative – Proactive and acts without being prompted. This may include helping other consultants, prepping for upcoming panels, etc.
