Job Description

 Intake Coordinator - Certified Pharmacy Tech 
Contract Duration: 3 months
Shift Availability: 7AM - 7PM
Pay Rate: $16.50/hr (non-CPhT), $17.50/hr (CPhT) * CPhT is preferred


Global pharmaceutical company is looking for 5 pharmacy techs to join their Lewisville TX team! This is a contract role lasting approximately 3 months. It will be remote but anyone selected must be local to Lewisville. This role is centered around great over the phone customer service. It will require someone to be great with data entry, knowledgeable and someone who strives for a one-call resolution. Your shift will be set and this role is Monday - Friday. Any knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid or dealing with insurance companies is a big plus! Apply now!  


What you'll be doing:

o Responsible for handling inbound calls, with ability to determine needs and provide one call resolution
o Create and complete accurate referrals and applications and keep updated on policy or procedural changes
o Manage workload of inbound faxes (if applicable)
o Investigate and resolve patient/physician inquiries and concerns in a timely manner
o Enter detailed information into company proprietary software while conversing via telephone
o Place outbound phone calls for patient follow ups, confirmations or to obtain missing information
o Mail out appropriate documents to physician offices
o Interact with the patient referral sources to process new applicants
o Follow up with other internal team members regarding next steps
o Communicate with external constituents including physician offices and pharmacies
o Ability to identify, document and submit Adverse Events during customer contact or via received documentation

Who we're looking for:
o Minimum high school diploma or GED;
o Basic computer knowledge, Microsoft systems
o Strong communication/customer service skills
o Ability to be an independent worker and self-directed
o Ability to sit for long periods of time in a cubicle setting
o Demonstrate superior customer support talents
o Ability to prioritize multiple, concurrent assignments and work with a sense of urgency
o Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid and Commercially insured payer common practices and policies, preferred
