Description

As a Sales Account Executive (SAE) you will lead a virtual account team-selling environment, reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer. You will be the primary point of contact and relationship owner for DataXstream towards our Prospects and Customers. You will assume the ownership role for your assigned enterprise accounts while driving the identification and qualification of new sales opportunities.  To be successful you will need to develop and execute opportunity plans leading to the generation of new business through software product license/subscriptions and service offerings.

In addition, the SAE will facilitate and maintain successful relationships with customers, which will be measured by their reference ability, customer satisfaction levels, and increased annual recurring revenue levels.  Expected travel for on-site meetings with customers/prospects/partners is 25-50%.


Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets
  • Generate 10-20 direct prospect meetings and solution overviews per month through different sources to drive Net-New sales.
  • Ability to demonstrate and clearly differentiate the product focus with clear and compelling value proposition
  • Manage new opportunities through the sales cycle from discovery to negotiation
  • Craft compelling sales proposals and lead contract negotiations to closure
  • Identify, qualify, and cultivate new business opportunities
  • Attract and connect with relevant stakeholders to help create comprehensive customer business case
  • Communicate with Marketing and Business Development teams regarding sales activity and lead follow up on a timely basis.
  • Document plans, activities, and opportunities accurately in the CRM system (Hubspot)


Qualifications

  • 7+ years of sales experience within a complex solution sales process 
  • Specific work experience in the SAP software market is required, knowledge of Oracle & Microsoft Dynamics is a plus.
  • Proven track record of success driving revenue through discovering, prospecting, and closing new business
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office (Word, PPT, Excel, Outlook) and Hubspot
  • Experience selling to companies with over 1,000 employees
  • Growth evangelist with a hunger to create, manage, and close new business opportunities
  • Passionate customer champion with relentless drive to achieve sales growth objectives
  • Skilled communicator with exceptional presentation, organization, and negotiation skills
  • Proficient manager of complex solution sales cycles and multiple opportunities
  • Accomplished multi-tasker with experience selling SAP Software and other sales/CRM solutions
