We are currently seeking a Senior Systems Engineer (Administrator) to join our dynamic team. The purpose of the Senior Systems Engineer (Administrator) is to architect, implement, maintain, support, and optimize the server and storage infrastructures, as well a robust VMware environment. The server infrastructure includes both physical and virtual servers, the storage infrastructure may consist of SAN, NAS and cloud type storage. The Senior Systems Engineer (Administrator) will also schedule and manage activities to resolve hardware and software issues in a timely and highly accurate manner.
Essential Functions/Job Duties:
+ Provide the company with a redundant, reliable, secure and highly available technology infrastructure
+ Architect, implement and manage highly available VMware environments
+ Architect, implement and manage highly available Citrix environment
+ Architect, implement and manage highly available Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI)
+ Develop and provide accurate reporting on important system metrics and critical concerns
+ Must understand the importance of maintaining Information Security at all times
+ Design, plan, and execute significant IT projects to deliver new capabilities that support business requirements
+ Perform regular system capacity planning to ensure that company infrastructure is adequate to handle the requirements of the business
+ Define, test, and manage assigned components of corporate Disaster Recovery plan
+ Documenting critical IT procedures
+ Ensure outstanding Customer Service is provided at all times, to both internal and external customers
+ Evaluate and recommend new technologies as they become sufficiently mature for adoption
+ Mentor and develop junior team members
+ Oversee major projects to ensure sound overall strategy, timely completion and effectiveness
+ Work as an integral part of the core IT team, providing insight and vision in your area of expertise as part of a team effort
+ 5+ years managing a Windows/Server environment
+ 3+ years managing a VMware environment
+ Experience configuring and managing enterprise storage solutions
+ Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills
+ Must possess ability to work in demanding and fast paced environment, multi-tasking
+ Must enjoy working with highly motivated and dedicated team
+ HIPAA or general Information Security knowledge a plus
Required Education and Experience:
+ Prefer a Bachelor of Science (or academic equivalent) required, with an accredited program in general information systems, information technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems or an advanced technology-related degree or equivalents of experience.
+ Experience managing Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops is highly desired
+ Experience with Cisco UCS blade server environments desired
+ Must have experience with Virtual Desktop Infrastructure technology
+ Experience with ManageEngine Service Desk Plus is highly desired.
+ Experience with Manage File Transfer Platforms (GoAnywhere) is highly desired.
+ The position is located in Huntingdon Valley PA. It may require some light travel for training, meetings or trips to other Databank facilities.
