Nail Technician Duties and Responsibilities
Provide Manicures and Pedicures
Nail Artisans provide individualized nail services and treatments to clients, including manicures and pedicures. They remove previously applied nail lacquer, shape and smooth the ends of nails, clean the nails, soften, push back and exfoliate cuticles and nails, and apply lacquer onto nails. They may also apply nail art and adorn nails with nail art products.
Maintain Sanitary Workstation
Nail Artisans are responsible for maintaining a safe and sanitary work environment. They must uphold strict standards of sanitation and sterilization as directed by law and established policies and procedures.
In order to maintain an environment for both clients and staff, Nail Artisans are also responsible for withholding the standards of the cleanliness, neat and tidy, and respect for the facility and the furnishings. We take pride in our environment, it creates a place of comfort for both client and staff.
Build Customer Relationships
Nail Artisans work to ensure their guests are satisfied, so that they will become repeat customers. They work to build a relationship with customers and guide them toward other services or products they offer as needed.
Nail Artisan Skills
Successful Nail Artisans are creative and artistic, with a very strong eye for detail. They work carefully and take pride in meeting customer expectations. They also have good interpersonal skills and can carry on a conversation with anyone.

- Continuous job related studies
Must have current Washington State Cosmetologist or Nail Technician License.
Nail Artisan Positions are either paid on hourly or commission, whichever is higher.
Looking for Part-time as well. Compensation is either hourly or commission, which ever is higher.
