The Senior Project Manager is a key role within the PASS US organization. The PASS organization is the supplier of customized, specialty processing equipment for Pall Biotechnology. We deliver projects on-time, within specification, and on budget. You will assume responsibility for the project management of large PASS projects, inclusive of engineering, procurement, manufacturing, testing, and delivery.
In the exciting role of Project Manager, you will be coordinating various customer projects. You will have the chance to take ownership of a project from A-Z, using your talents and capabilities to drive business in this rapidly growing, highly innovative, biotechnology market.
Form and lead a high-functioning project team, consisting process engineers and support group members. This role may have travels upwards to 25%, international and domestic
Responsible for all phases project management from technical assistance from engineering, in accordance with established standard work, including:
Pre-order Sales Support (budget/quotation phase)
Performing contract review of orders received against quotations
Generating all project relevant design documents, P&IDs, GAs, Electrical and Software
Oversight of vendors and sub-contractors
Presentation of technical solutions to customer
Timely project communication internally (Program Directors, Executives) as well as with customers
Perform Pre-FAT, FAT and SAT testing and deviation resolution
Finalize documentation for turn over packages (TOP)
Final customer acceptance at site
Establish and practice project controls/governance/standards. Provide cost reporting against budget and lead project schedules, milestones and submit project documentation and stakeholder presentations. Apply risk management principles to identify, mitigate, or present options for resolution to issues that impact quality, delivery or budget of the project.
Partner with process engineering to ensure designs will meet customer specifications
Ensure all project documentation is complete and accurate for project close out.

Bachelors degree in Engineering, Biotechnology or equivalent experience. Masters preferred.
5+ years’ experience in engineering or project management within the life sciences industry – with a focus on engineering disciplines (feasibility, design, construction, commissioning, and validation). 5+ years of industrial experience (biotechnology and pharma) in engineering project management. Previous experience in performing equipment testing (FAT, SAT, commissioning and qualification), budget following, internal/external resource management. Understanding of Biotech Processes and Knowledge of the Biotech market is an asset; Knowledgeable in project management methodology and techniques; risk management and principles. Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, ability to deliver stellar reporting
