Full-Time position available for a Clinical Supervisor at D'Veal Family and Youth Services. We are a Community-based and school-based nonprofit provider of Social and Mental Health services. It is ideal for someone interested in working in a diverse population in Northwest Pasadena and/or greater Los Angeles area(s).
Under the general direction of the Associate Clinical Director, the Clinical Supervisor will provide program management and oversight for designated staff. Duties involved individual and group clinical supervision in accordance with Board of Behavioral Science (BBS). Exercise a high degree of independent judgment in the supervision of the day-to-day team operations to provide quality care and client service coordination through effective case management and staff coverage. Responsibilities include reviewing and approving clinical documentation, monitoring programs for compliance as well as assisting in program development or modification. Other duties involve functioning as a team leader of the team in delivering clinical services for clients in outpatient settings, providing services to individuals, groups and/or multi-family group modalities for D’Veal Family & Youth Services’ clients within the context of the Agency’s emphasis on understanding and treating the client in a family context.
Full-Time positions available as Clinical Supervisor of staff. Bilingual - English and Spanish a plus/preferred. The Clinical Supervisor will provide individual, family, conjoint, group and multi-family modalities for D’Veal Family & Youth Services’ clients within the context of the Agency’s emphasis on understanding and treating the client in a family context. Other duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the clinical and administrative supervision of Therapists, conducting ongoing training of Therapists under supervision and seeing clients during crisis/emergency situations. Specific Education, Certification and Skill Requirements:
Requires prior knowledge and experience with a County or Department of Mental Health (DMH) documentation standards. Training and certification in Evidence Based Practice Models. Requires current license with the State Board of Behavioral Sciences as a LCSW or LMFT and a California Driver’s License. 2 years post license is required as well as clearance of a T. B. Test and Fingerprint Clearance.
