Sales Coordinator DESCRIPTION Downtown Los Angeles Proper Hotel is looking for a highly motivated Sales Coordinator. This historic 148-room renovated Hotel with two restaurants, event venues and a spectacular rooftop bar is the newest addition to the Proper Brand. Job Overview Under the guidance of the Director of Sales and Marketing, the Sales Coordinator will provide administrative support to maximize sales + food and beverage revenue across multiple market segments including corporate, groups, consortia, and events.

Maintain department's tracking systems, databases, and reports. Perform light selling duties to small groups as needed. Represent the sales department both internally and externally in a professional manner.

General Sales office administration Assist and support Sales leadership with administrative support including incoming calls, VIP arrivals, proposals, contracts, day-to-day servicing of groups and/or events, reporting, and at times client management as needed Answers phones in a timely and professional manner; qualifies incoming inquiry calls and ensures all inquiries are distributed to the appropriate sales leader; ensures timely follow up on the same business day Maintains lead log and lead statistics to be used for strategic outbound sales Assists sales leaders on creative projects including, but not limited to, proposals, site inspections, and special events Communicates with all hotel departments as appropriate. Ensures prompt attention to time sensitive requests by hotel colleagues Attends Banquet Event Order and other meetings as assigned Assists guests and clients with questions, small changes requests, reservation requests, amenity requests and coordination Monitors/Orders office supplies and sales collateral to ensure minimum levels of collateral supplies and promotional items are met or exceeded Performs other duties as assigned Qualifications 1-2 years administrative support experience, additional hotel front desk experience is preferred Must be self-directed, motivated and demonstrate intuitive customer service and interpersonal skills Communicates clearly, concisely, and openly in all interactions Has exceptional attention to detail, organizational, analytical and time management skills Multi-tasks and prioritizes in a fast-paced work environment Is technologically savvy, with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Delphi, HIS/Epitome and Opera PreferredEducation High School Diploma required, Bachelor's Degree preferred Company Overview Proper Hospitality is made up of a diverse group of passionate individuals who share a common love for hotels and the art of hospitality.
