We are looking for a competent Office Assistant to help with the organization and running of the daily administrative operations of the company. The ideal candidate is a hard-working professional able to execute a variety of office support tasks and work diligently under pressure. This person must be comfortable working with a high degree of attention to detail and discretion, as well as incorporating new and effective ways to achieve better results.

Responsibilities

· Data Entry using Adjusting Software, and other databases

· Supplement Insurance Claims

· Discuss Supplements w Insurance Companies

· Communicate w Insurance Companies via email and telephone

· Track Claims for Various General Contractors

· Make/Send Final Invoices and/or Certificate of Completions to Insurance Companies

· Follow Up w Insurance Co on Payment releases for the Policy Holders

· Send Sub Contractor Invoices for General Contractors as needed

· Become the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for roofing – Research

· Compile support documents for Supplements, i.e. Code Requirements, Pictures, etc.

Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of office equipment
  • Thorough understanding of office management procedures
  • Excellent organizational and time management skill
  • Analytical abilities and aptitude in problem-solving
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office
