Immediately looking for a motivated sales engineering professional to excel in the Technical Sales Specialist role in the Atlanta, GA area.

Title: Technical Sales Specialist
Location: Atlanta, GA

Roles and Responsibilities:

DSI facilitates client acquisition for our vendor partners through our national network of channel partners.

We are looking for a motivated individual for the Technical Sales Specialist role. This role is focused on B2B opportunities, supporting our sellers/partners with enterprise class Internet access, PBX, hosted voice, and business mobility solutions.

The primary function of the Technical Sales Specialist is to support our sales agents and dealer channel with assistance in solution design for multi subscriber video and data networks.

  • Assist sales agents in defining correct product solution for specific projects
  • Develop Bill of Materials and proposals for projects
  • Build system designs in tools like Microsoft Visio
  • Establish productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned partner accounts.
  • Stay current on industry technologies and trends
  • Complete required training and development objectives within the assigned time frame.
  • Execute company directives.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Assist sales agents in defining correct product solution for specific projects

  • Prompt, strategic, highly organized, effective time management, goal-oriented with proven results.
  • Ability to understand the competition and how to position your clients to succeed in a competitive marketplace.
  • Ability to learn industry key metrics and translate to an executable action plan.

Experience:

  • Previous experience in a technical sales role required!
  • Strong technical background; video, mobility, or network design preferred.
  • Proficient with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
