Account Executive - Home Health

Currently interviewing for an experienced sales professional to fill an opening of Account Executive with a Home Health agency located in Alexandria, VA. Interested candidates should have 2 years of experience in Account Management/Business Development and preferably prior healthcare sales experience.

Responsibilities of the Account Executive - Home Health

• Partner with Domain Medical's management to meet admission targets.
• Assist in the verification of patient referral service authorizations.
• Attend staff meetings to identify further business development opportunities.
• Address client satisfaction issues.
• Conduct daily in-person visits and activities to meet/exceed the census goals.
• Prospect territory to expand referral base.
• Evaluate competition for opportunities to improve marketing program.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with referral sources that include physicians and their staff, hospital discharge planners, and social workers.
• Maintain a current working knowledge of the Medicare regulations and guidelines.
• Understand and effectively communicate federal and state regulations that affect the home care patient.

Requirements of the Account Executive - Home Health

• Bachelor's Degree preferred
• 2 years of experience in Account Management/Business Development
• 1 year of Marketing experience
• Prior Healthcare Sales experience strongly preferred
• Proven track record of success meeting/exceeding goals'
