Graphic Designer

OVERALL OBJECTIVE:

The Graphic Designer position is the entry-level position on the Graphic Design Team, and will report to the Graphic Design Manager. This individual works with other members of the DOM team learning the day-to-day administration of digital marketing and advertising initiatives for the Agency's automotive clients. They will become proficient in various areas of Graphic Design as well as the Company's production process. Upon gaining proficiencies in the areas identified, the first logical promotion opportunity for this individual will be to the position of Senior Graphic Designer.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Day-to-Day Duties
• Create artwork based off client templates
• Ensure all Company policies and procedures are followed; both DOM and client
• Maintain relationships with production and creative staff
• Gain thorough understanding of the production process
• Basic understanding of digital media design best practices
in thorough understanding of legal/disclaimers and adhere to them with all work
• Gain thorough understanding of co-op and compliance and adhere to them with all work
Interactive Campaign Development- Media & Creative
• Work with SEM and/or Creative Teams in the development of creative materials required
• Ensure all creative needs have passed through proper approval and legal channels prior to implementation
General Client/Account Support
• Follow direction from Account Services, Senior Graphic Designer or Graphic Design Manager, as appropriate, in delivery of needed artwork
• Participate in status calls/meetings as needed

REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
• Associates Degree with an emphasis on Graphic Design preferred, or equivalent relevant experience
• 2 years of experience in a graphic design position, preferably in website design
• Client focused with a strong sense of detail and urgency
• Entry level skills utilizing Google Drive/Gmail/Calendar
• Experienced and competent with Adobe Creative Suite - Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign
• Communication skills, both verbally and written, with people at all levels of an organization
