Sr IT Manager

Dogtopia is the leading dog daycare provider with more than 200 locations operating in 35 states in the USA and Canada. We are searching for an experienced leader that can oversee and manage IT operations (specifically Cloud-based), develop technical standards, and drive cloud architecture. This role is responsible for the hands-on technology and business services for operations and delivery. It is important that this role works with all parts of our business to build strong relationships, cultivate communication channels, and understand the technology needs between IT and our customers, stores, and support teams.

The Information Technology Team (IT) supports all business functions of Dogtopia by focusing on building efficiencies into all processes. We focus on people, process, and technology to collaborate and partner with our business users.

Position Duties/Responsibilities

• Maintain overall responsibility for the day-to-day operations of managing cloud and on-premises services including software deployment and upgrades, system administration, monitoring, incident resolution, problem management, configuration and change management, service desk, security management and monitoring, capacity planning, availability management, and disaster recovery.
• Maintain and optimize company networks
• Manage installations, upgrades and configurations of hardware and software
• Assess system performance and recommend improvements
• Ensure data is handled, transferred, or processed according to legal and company guidelines
• Control costs and budgets regarding IT systems
• Manage contracts with vendors and software licenses
• Develop IT policies and practices
• Participate in Enterprise and IT projects as the IT Operations SME

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications

• Proven experience as IT Operations Manager
• Experience with system installation, configuration, and analysis
• Thorough knowledge of networks and cloud computing
• Leadership and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects
• Strong communication skills
• Problem-solving aptitude
• BS/BA in Computer Science, IT or relevant field (or relevant experience)
• Entrepreneurial spirit, independent and creative thinking, and leadership through collaboration, not authority
• Strong Business acumen and Enterprise Knowledge
