At DICE Therapeutics, we design and develop innovative therapies in immunology for patients with debilitating diseases. Seeking to create a future where convenient oral medicines with biologic-like efficacy are available to patients with serious medical conditions, we are developing oral alternatives to medicines currently limited to injectable forms.
Essential Functions:In this exciting opportunity to join DICE as an intern and member of Clinical Business Operations, you will be partnering with groups across the Development Operations function, including Clinical Data Management, Clinical Informatics & Analytics, Clinical Operations, and Vendor Management to provide project-level support of key deliverables. We are seeking an energetic, responsible intern who’s
interested in learning the ins and outs of Clinical Development operations. To be successful, you must have a positive, proactive, creative mindset and be open to navigating ambiguity. In return, you’ll gain valuable hands-on experience working on challenging, meaningful projects with guidance from a dedicated mentor and other members of our team. This is a 10-12 week assignment starting in July - September
Key Responsibilities:- Contributes to the development of Development Operations onboarding materials and team process /training initiatives
- Assists in project meeting planning, agenda /slide creation, minutes and tracking of action items
- Coordinates and assists with team finance meetings
- Contributes to the set-up and/or close out of vendors, as requested
- Assists with tracking /organization of operational data, files and reports related to clinical trials
- Assists with the development of new tracking tools and processes
- Ensures that delegated tasks are executed under ICH/GxP and DICE quality standards
- Expands basic knowledge of clinical trials operations and scientific principles and objectives of DICE’s clinical trials under direction and guidance of senior staff
- Completes a variety of other clinical trial and project management-related responsibilities as assigned and agreed upon with direct manager
- Previous clinical experience a plus; basic understanding of clinical trial processes is required
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication and organizational skills
- Uses time efficiently, completes tasks correctly and on time, follows instructions and responds to management direction
- Treats people with respect; has strong interpersonal skills, inspires the trust of others; works with integrity and ethics; upholds DICE organizational values
- Is a true team player; welcomes feedback; supports other's efforts to succeed; contributes to a positive corporate culture
- Ability to think strategically and objectively and with creativity and innovation
- Strong computer skills required including MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, MS Project), including a high-level proficiency /expertise in Excel
This can be remote or if local to SSF a hybrid position
Salary Range
$20 - $27 per hour depending on experience
The pay range for this position that we to pay. Individual compensation is based on experience, education, skillset, and geographic location. This range is for the Bay Area, California location and may be adjusted to the labor market in other geographic areas.
