DHI Corp has an immediate opportunity for an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Our CFO will serve as a credible, knowledgeable, and trusted resource to our President/CEO. They will provide leadership, management, and vision to ensure that our company continues to have the proper operational controls, administrative and reporting procedures, and people to effectively run the department and to ensure financial strength. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned financial officer who has proven track record, they will lead the four-member finance and accounting team.

This position is based in our Mequon, WI headquarters, but can work from home two days a week.

Essential duties and responsibilities

This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary.

  • Partner with the Executive Team on all operational and strategic initiatives, providing strategic recommendations based on financial analysis and projections, cost identification and allocation, revenue/expense analysis, risk and liabilities.
  • Responsible for the oversight of day-to-day finance and accounting operations to include general ledger, AP, AR, and monthly reconciliations.
  • Prepare timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to President/CEO and Shareholders
  • Strong management skills to lead a high-performing department
  • Experience managing working capital in fast-growing a business
  • Strong ability to prioritize and complete projects in full and on time
  • Manage cash flow and forecasting
  • Ensure the finance staff maintains financial record systems in accordance with GAAP
  • Own and manage relationships with key partners, including banks, insurance brokers, and auditors
  • Provide relevant business analytics to the leadership team to enhance accountability and profitability
  • Key member of IT Steering Committee and driver of automation within AR & AP


  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance plus 10 years' experience
  • Advanced degree or MBA preferred
  • CPA preferred
  • The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • NetSuite experience a plus
  • Demonstrated experience and expertise with MS Office applications primarily Excel
  • High level of integrity and professionalism with a keen sense of urgency and results-orientation
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
