Job Description

Responsibilities:

Experienced and results-oriented Sales Key Account Manager is needed, and the successful candidate will be working on Automotive Floor Carpet Components.

This role is responsible for identifying and managing new customers in the vehicle OEM & Tier 1 sector:

• Responsible for identifying and managing new customers in the Automotive OEM & Tier 1 sector

• Manages relationship with multiple OEMs & Tier1s through individual account support, and liaison with customers’ internal key departments

• Locate potential business deals; discover and explore new business opportunities

• Report customer request for new products and/or features to appropriate departments for potential implementation into future product road-maps

• Collaborate with the development engineering team to present a strong business and technical solution to our current and prospective customers. Work with the engineering team to ensure customer project requirements are met

• Develop/present sales pitch to effectively communicate benefits of our products and services to customers

• Prepare responses to RFQ and RFI

• Research market requirements and technical trends, maintain knowledge of competitor products and identify and report intelligence on competitor pricing and marketing strategies

• Attend and represent company's trade shows, conferences and other marketing events


This role is also responsible for executing quality policies and procedures and standards for a Business Unit, Product Line or location:

• Manage local inspection facility which conducts inspection testing to verify product quality

• Supports responses to emerging quality issues and responsible for containment and tracking of those issues

• Supports communication with customer and internal communication of quality issues

• Supports quality analysis of customer reported failures and finds potential root cause of failed part


Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Engineering

• 3+ years of experience in automotive account management (Management of commercial issue : pre-production components, contract, purchasing order, price, tooling, engineering change and supply chain, etc..)

• Strong written and verbal communication skills


Preferred:

• Bilingual in English & Korean

• Knowledge of Automotive Interior Soft Trim Components

• Tier-1 Quality and Customer Support Experience
