Job Description

The R&D Project Management Associate is responsible for managing new product development and business development process.

Job Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To:

  • Responsible for documenting all data related to new product development
  • Responsible for reviewing division budget items and control R&D monthly expense
  • Responsible for drafting division’s annual/midterm business development plan
  • Maintain communication with business partners and collaborate with institutes
  • Maintain and update formula card, product specification, SOP, and other R&D/QA documents
  • Acquire raw materials, ingredients, and processing equipment required for new product development
  • Assist with communication between Korea HQ, collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and vendors
  • Support with all activities related to product development
  • Support with certification process with USDA Organic, Non-GMO, Kosher, and other certifications as needed
  • Assist with special project assignments as needed

Skills/Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Biology, Agricultural Science, Pharmaceutical Science, or Human Nutrition is required
  • Graduate degree or industrial internship experience are preferred
  • Certified Associate of Project Management (CAPM) from PMI , or 3 years of project management experience
  • Ability to understand standard project management skills and knowledge
  • Ability to understand/knowledge of food, nutrition, pharmaceutical sciences
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, etc
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Bilingual in Korean
