Quality Assurance Specialist

1. Plans and conducts the analysis, inspection, design, test, and/or integration
to assure the quality of an assigned product or component.

2. Performs quality engineering reviews of design documentation for
compliance with stated requirements, including vendor quality manuals and
company quality records.

3. Applies statistical process control (SPC) methods for analyzing data to
evaluate the current process and process changes.

4. Reviews all purchased products or components, and provides input to the
decision of whether to accept the product and future purchases from the
vendor.

5. Documents data obtained during all quality assurance activities, consistent
with company policies and procedures.

6. Develops new approaches to solve problems identified during quality
assurance activities.

7. Communicates significant issues or developments identified during quality
assurance activities, and provides recommended process improvements to management.

8. Prepares reports to communicate involvement and results of quality
assurance activities.

9. Prepares and presents technical and program information to team members
and management.

10. Directs technical and administrative workers engaged in quality assurance
activities.

11. Maintains a working knowledge of government and industry quality
assurance codes and standards.

12. Conduct root cause analysis to determine metrics and continual improvement.

13. Perform periodic reliability test.

14. Coordinate quality lab calibration scheduling.

15. Conduct process audit regarding FMEA, CP.

16. Prepare monthly performance report.

17. Work with Senior Administration Manager to assure that all FMEAs, PPAPs,
CPs, and APQPs are ISO14000, IFTF 16949 compliant in base quality
process management.

18. Identify NCR issue and carry out countermeasure effectiveness check.
