Duties include (but not limited to) being responsible for deployment and support services either remotely or on site. Individuals with a working knowledge of computer hardware, software and networking systems would be a top candidate for this position. On the job and vendor sponsored training provided.
Perform help desk trouble-shooting, remote support, system setup and upgrade of point of sale systems and their components. On-site deployment and customer training may also be required.
Communicate with clients in a professional manner to give explanation and updates of work performed.
Communicate and train customer staff on utilization of point of sale equipment.
Maintain required records and reports as directed.
Maintain skills and expertise necessary to remain current on technology.
A top candidate will complete a 90 day paid evaluation period to demonstrate qualities needed for continued employment at DCR. Assigned duties during evaluation will be based on company needs and candidate experience, and may differ from the listed job description.
High School or Equivalent, College or Technical School
Professional and pleasant verbal and written communication skills, and personal presentation.
Punctuality, regular attendance and ability to work flexible hours including overnights, overtime and on-call rotation which includes weekends and holidays are required.
Must be able to travel overnight occasionally, potentially for a few days.
Must pass a background check, drug test, have a clean driving record, a valid TN driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Compensation is based on an hourly rate paid weekly with 40-55 hours per week typical. DCR offers a comprehensive package including health care, 401(k), paid holidays, paid vacation days and life insurance.
