Digital Paid Media Manager - Veteran Suicide Prevention

DCG Communications (DCG) is seeking a talented and passionate Digital Paid Media Manager to provide their subject matter expertise while serving as an internal project manager, liaising with our partners, clients, and media buyers. The ideal candidate is able to build strong rapport and trust with our clients, while distilling down data and being able to speak to the story behind the metrics of our reports. 

In this role, you will join a team supporting a high-profile U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs campaign addressing suicide prevention. The selected candidate must have experience managing multi-faceted, multi-million dollar paid media campaigns. 

In this role, you will:

  • Play a key role in developing and overseeing paid media strategies and programs, with a heavy emphasis on digital advertising in an effort to increase website visits and completed views of the client's public service announcement (PSA) videos. 
  • Manage a multi-million dollar paid media budget over the course of six months.
  •  Serve as the primary point of contact for advertising vendors who will execute primarily digital paid media tactics.
    • Please note, this role will not be launching, implementing, and conducting day-to-day optimization of ads in platform.
  • Serve as the primary client point of contact for paid media projects and discussions.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact when collaborating with external stakeholders and partners on unique paid campaigns.
  • Work with the DCG project manager to gather inputs from client leadership and key stakeholders to track and manage strategic and tactical communication projects and report on communication activity.
  • Work with our paid media vendors to compile monthly and ad-hoc reports to provide updates on paid media performance and results, audience demographics and impression information, and strategy recommendations.

Additional Responsibilities: 

  • Manage end-to-end paid media campaigns involving strategy, planning, budget management, ad copy and design development, implementation oversight, and reporting/analysis.  
  • Proactively identify tactical challenges and deliver timely solutions.  
  • Stay abreast of industry best practices and innovations and provide recommendations for client application.
  • Lead and execute th strategy, implementation, and analysis of advertising campaigns across digital, out-of-home, and other paid tactics.
  • Track and manage the execution of strategic and tactical paid media projects. 
  • Analyze relevant channels recommend tactical implementation and timing. 

Position Requirements: 

  • Minimum of six (6) to eight (8)years of relevant professional experience. 
  • Experience managing and implementing multi-million dollar digital paid media campaigns. 
  • Proven experience establishing trust and rapport while effectively communicating, and providing clear requirements to media buyers.
  • Proven ability to distill data and speak to the story behind the numbers
  • Proven ability to presentcampaign reports and recommendationsto clients.
  • Experience with media planning, buying, and activation across digital channels.
  • In tune with the latest paid media developments, online behaviors, and trends.
  • Strong ability to communicate, both written and verbal, with people at all levels of an organization. 
  • Possess strong attention to detail.
  • Possess high degree of professionalism, both with client and internal team communications and interactions.
  • A strong sense of urgency and commitment to get the job done quickly and with high quality.
  • Proven ability to work both independently and as a team.
