Job Details

We are looking for motivated Financial and Administrative Assistant to work with our Financial Controller and Administrative Team. The successful candidate will be comfortable doing data entry and basic financial analyses, in addition to other tasks around the office. Compensation will be $18-$20 per hour, with a maximum of 40 hours per week.

Tasks

  • Fast and accurate data entry of financials and banking information
  • Working in Quickbooks daily
  • Run reports on financials, providing analyses and recommendations
  • Collaborate with financial team and administrative team members to reach KPIs
  • Provide world-class customer service for internal and external clients
  • Occasional mailing, working on the phones (inbound + outbound) and purchasing
  • Accounting responsibilities
    • Billing
    • Accounts receivable
    • Accounts payable
    • Reconciliation of multiple accounts including payroll, A/P, A/R
    • Management of vendor accounts
  • Create and maintain excel spreadsheets for monthly billings to our clients
  • Run customer, vendor, and job cost reports
  • Ability to interact productively with co-workers and function well in a team environment
  • Must be able to manage multiple tasks and ability to prioritize

Requirements

  • 2+ years experience in a financial services role, preferably accounting
  • 2+ years experience using QuickBooks
  • Mastery of MS Office and common office tools; HubSpot and other CRM platforms a huge advantage
  • Professional demeanor and appearance
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and independently at times, in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills: on phone, email, in-person and when presenting data
  • Must have pro-active, team-oriented, positive attitude
  • BS/BA in financial field or experience in construction a plus
  • Applicants must be able to commute to our sales office in Damascus, an easy drive from Portland
