Job Description

DATABASICS, a Time & Expense Tracking Software company is seeking a System And Application Consultant to become an integral part of our team! As a System and Application Consultant, you will provide billable on-site and remote consulting and training to clients worldwide. This includes working on large and small projects as a member of the Consulting Implementation Team. Consultants analyze the requirements and help with the mechanics of the implementation. They also suggest ways to optimize the application, verify system configurations and implement system tests and rollout plans. This a hybrid remote position with excellent benefits and competitive compensation package. We are a fantastic company to work for with lots of room for growth!

Responsibilities:

  • Learning DATABASICS products and providing primary assistance to the customers
  • Work with project manager or product owner to meet specification needs
  • Collaborating with management and staff to understand their needs
  • Create flowcharts and user guides for new and existing programs
  • Document all tasks and procedures
  • Conducting research on the organization and its customers.
  • Analyzing data to identify problem areas
  • Developing plans to implement solutions
  • Keeping abreast of changes in the industry

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of work-related experience
  • Strong knowledge of web applications and ERP systems
  • Experience with developing project plans
  • Ability to travel nationwide 25%
  • Ability to handle multiple engagements simultaneously
  • Knowledge of SQL, Python, or other programming languages
  • Familiarity with relational databases such as MySQL, Oracle, and SQL Server
  • Deadline and detail-oriented
  • Solve problems through helpful recommendations and practical suggestions
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Be self-motivated
  • Be a team player
  • A BA/BS Degree in Accounting, Business, Project Management or related field is preferred but not required
