DAPR Engineering, LLC is an engineering design and analysis consulting firm in Nashua, New Hampshire. We work with customers across many industries to develop and deliver turnkey industrial machines to meet their unique requirements. What you get to do

  • Plans, organizes, directs, and evaluates the performance the operations team, including engineering technicians, operations coordinators, and parts management personnel
  • Is responsible for the day-to-day tasks performed by staff to ensure customer demands are being met and company regulations are adhered to
  • Collaborate with project managers to understand build requirements and schedules
  • Supports machine build, testing, and qualification as required.
  • Ensures workplace policies are being followed by the team and informs policy improvement
  • Is integral in the hiring process for new hires and helps with onboarding
  • Conducts bi-annual reviews of operations staff and recommends areas for professional development
  • Performs regular inspection of tools and equipment

What you will bring to the team

  • EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: High School diploma or GED plus Minimum five (5) years' experience in a similar role, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Manufacturing experience is desirable.
  • LANGUAGE SKILLS: Strong written and verbal communications, organizational and time management skills. Strong interpersonal skills to work and support a team environment.
  • MECHANICAL SKILLS: Experience with assembly and troubleshooting of different types of industrial machinery.
  • REASONING ABILITY: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • OTHER SKILLS: Ability to operate a computer and use spreadsheet, database, word processing. Experience with ERP systems. Familiarity with motion systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, robots, etc. Experience with 5S + Safety beneficial. Ability to work with CAD systems, e.g. SolidWorks beneficial.
