Director, Inside Sales

The Director of Inside Sales is responsible for the long-term growth and success of DAOU’s Business-to-Business (B2B) sales channel. This role requires skills in both generating leads, pitching, and closing deals with Private Clients and Corporations. The Inside Sales channel is a direct channel and operates outside of the 3-Tiered system.
Position Responsibilities
Sales Planning & Analysis.
- Responsible for developing and implementing a sales plan to meet and exceed company revenue and profitability goals.
- Develops and executes the sales plan to drive revenue for the company.
- Works closely with other executives to drive the strategic direction and resource allocation for the company.
- Monitors and reports daily on sales goals.
- Works with Marketing to monitor market trends including demand planning, provide regular competitor analysis, and develop print and online promotional materials for the company’s products and services.
- Collaborates effectively across functional areas to optimize sales processes, lead management, and provide key business insights, specifically related to growth forecasts and evaluation of progress against those forecasts.
Sales Process & Tactics
- Drives sales objectives and builds client relationships.
- Uses consultative sales techniques to prospect and manage senior level relationships.
- Ensures the proper use of CRM databases and tools to track performance.
- Develops new and innovative ways to market products and services.
- Inventory Management.
- P&L Management.
Requirements
- In-depth knowledge of selling strategies and methods.
- Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Great strategic planning, organizational, and creative thinking skills.
- Five+ years’ experience in CRM.
- 3-5 year proven work experience in B2B sales.
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Understanding of basic CRM platforms.
- WSET level I minimum.

Compensation Range
- Base Salary: $70,000 - $80,000
