Combat Arms Instructor SME

D2 Government Solutions (D2GS) is seeking (2) candidates for Combat Arms Instructor SME at the Special Tactics Training Squadron - 24th Special Operations Wing at Hurlburt Field, Florida. This is a full-time, non-exempt position.

Responsibilities:

• Provides troubleshooting, testing, accountability, issuance control and management of unit’s various weapons systems, equipment, and ammunition
• Performs in dept equipment check and provides detailed maintenance, repair or declares unserviceability
• Coordinates with installation support or local equipment repair services
• Instructs safe handling and employment of various weapons systems
• Develops and maintains unit’s explosive safety program
• Conducts training on explosive handling and hazards
• Accurately enters data and maintains electronic equipment accountability systems
• Inventories and maintains records of accountability
• Serves as the unit Control Area Monitor
• Performs Chief Range Officer (CRO) and Range Safety Officer (RSO) duties

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Must have an active Secret clearance
• Must have Special Experience Identifier 312 Combat Arms, Combat Arms experience, or Special Operations sister service equivalent
• Must have knowledge of weapons inspection and armory procedures
• Must be able to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC)
