Job Description
Senior DevOps Engineer
Location: 100% Remote in the United States (Central or Eastern time zones)
Reports To: Director of DevOps
Employees: 1,500 | Industry: Retail software
Responsibilities:
- Developing/supporting a platform in public cloud to scale in efficiency, reliability, and performance
- Implementing changes to our platform as code (IaaC)
- Reviewing changes by other team members, writing documentation, refactoring, and fixing bugs
- Developing and operating CI/CD pipelines to keep platform up to date
- Automating routines such as operating system and database patching
- Resolving problems impacting the platform
- Participating in agile team practices
Ideal qualifications for someone in this role:
- Hands-on experience with Windows Server (on-prem)
- Cloud experience with Azure
- Experience with virtual machines (VMs)
- PowerShell scripting skills for infrastructure automation
- Hands-on experience with Terraform
- Experience with CI/CD and IaaC
- Experience with Citrix would be a bonus skill to have
- Experience working in an Agile environment
- Kubernetes experience is also preferred
