Cyclonaire is currently looking for a full-time Engineering Administrative Assistant to join our team in York, NE.
The Engineering Administrative Assistant provides administrative support to the Engineering Department and will interface with other teams inside of the organization. This position will gather, review, and analyze information and perform revisions or changes to document format, layout, and/or publishing methods to ensure quick information retrieval and easy comprehension. This will be done by utilizing word processing, spreadsheets, and other specialized software. The Engineering Administrative Assistant will prepare or generate reports and other forms of communication on a regular basis or as needed. This position will be responsible for maintaining paper file systems, Data Integrity, and archives of relevant records. Additionally, this role will provide support and technical assistance related to the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system including data entry and report generation.
- Create and maintain customer product manuals.
- Obtain and organize 3rd party manuals
- Maintain and create SOP’s
- Maintain and create Templates
- Maintain and create Work Instructions
- Enter Engineering BOM’s into ERP system
- Assist in customization of ERP reports
- Monitor and identify problems in the ERP system
- Maintain Data Integrity in all systems
- Provided printed documents as needed to the customers of the Engineering Department (Production, 3rd Party Vendors, End User Customer, etc.)
- Other duties as assigned
Competencies: Must have strong Microsoft Office skills; particularly Word. Must be able to work inside of Adobe Acrobat and various graphic editing tools. Knowledge of Solidworks, Vault PDM, Macola ERP, Microsoft Teams (SharePoint), and classic folder structuring is preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills are required. Disciplined and consistent method of organization is required.
Education / Experience: High School Diploma required, Associate Degree preferred in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or relevant field, or a minimum of 2 years applicable experience and/or training in document control. Familiarity with technical data, technical writing, and industrial equipment desired.
Physical Demands: Must be able to lift 15-20 pounds maximum on your own. Must have the ability to sit and/or stand for long periods of time. Occasional walking, stooping, kneeling, and reaching are required. Must be able to frequently exchange accurate information through written and verbal communications.
Work Environment: Clean and climate-controlled office environment in a manufacturing facility.

Safety: Safety shoes (steel or composite toe), safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, and other forms of PPE as required in designated areas.
