Based in the UTC / La Jolla area of San Diego - we're a fast growing company that's processing nearly 15k take home genetic tests per day. We're building new teams to help us create programs, products and platforms that allow our customers to leverage the amount of data that we're currently ingesting and we're using the data for good! Things like helping understand how your genetics affect your risk for various diseases, etc.

What You Will Be Doing
Leading programs for a new genomic data / big data biotechnology product
Working as part of a small team that's responsible for mostly new product and market development
Gathering requirements, creating use cases + writing user stories, creating software requirements documents and outlining features needed to deliver software
Working w/ a stakeholders to develop customer centric focus and even at times creating wireframes
What You Need for this Position
5+ years of SW Engineering and/or Data Science
2+ years of program management
Experience with data products (APIs, databases, complex queries, etc)
Hands on experience with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, NoSQL, etc
Frontend and/or backend experience using:
- Python/Django
- JavaScript, React, Scala, Kafka, Play
- Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources

Agile / Scrum
Leading large, high-profile, and cross-team programs
Healthcare , Biology, Genomics industry experience or related
