The IT Systems Administrator sets up, configures, and supports our enterprise systems. This includes creating and maintaining a variety of hospital information systems, network, storage, mail, and phone systems. This position also provides support for systems including, but not limited to Exchange, Active Directory, Veeam, and MS SQL server. This individual participates in technical research and planning to enable the business to operate effectively and securely. The position is responsible for providing after hour, holiday, and weekend support as required.
-Diagnoses and repairs server, storage, and network failures.
-Manages backup and restore processes and maintains general health of backup environment.
-Creates, configures, maintains and monitors servers and other enterprise systems.
-Resolves outages and completes projects in a timely fashion.
-Provides after hour, weekend, and holiday technical support as assigned.
-Applies OS patches and upgrades on a regular basis.
-Maintains data center environment and monitoring equipment.
-Documents new or undocumented technical procedures.
-Works collaboratively with management, staff and peers to meet organizational objectives.
-Works collaboratively with the EMR team to resolve service interruptions and identify application enhancements.
-Maintains high work ethic standards.
-Attends meetings as assigned and performs related tasks in a timely manner.
-Provides quality customer service to all internal and external customers at all times.
-Additional duties as assigned.
-5-10 years systems administrator experience
-MCITP or equivalent certification a plus
-VMWare experience required
-Microsoft Active Directory experience required
-Microsoft SCCM experience a plus
-Microsoft SQL Server experience a plus
-Microsoft Exchange experience a plus
-Veeam experience a plus
