Sr. Director of Revenue Cycle
We are a Top 5 ranked health services provider that is based in Columbia, South Carolina with over 75 locations throughout the state. We have two separate brands underneath us, one is the largest urgent care company in South Carolina and the other is a network of Physical Therapy locations. In total, we have over 54 Urgent Cares and 17 Physical Therapy clinics and we are looking to grow more in the next 3 years!

Our Senior Director of Revenue Cycle is retiring at the end of the month after 25 years of service so we need to find the right fit. If you have 3+ years of experience in a Director of Revenue Role, then we'd love to chat with you! What You Will Be Doing
- Serves as the lead executive for revenue cycle management operations, credentialing functions, and payer contracting functions for both brands
- Directs and leads complex and strategic revenue cycle and patient financial services functions in ambulatory healthcare settings.
- Applies in-depth knowledge of governmental and private payer payment methodologies to impact revenue cycle activities.
- Compiles and analyzes data and make decisions that support departmental and overall objectives.
- Analyzes, troubleshoots, and measures performance for processes affecting the revenue cycle.
- Determines opportunities for improvement, develops written procedures for standardization of processes and facilitates process teams to affect change in
order to achieve revenue cycle, credentialing, and contracting best practices and ensure consistency and compliance throughout the revenue cycle.
- Continually monitors changes in the workflow as needed to improve productivity.
- Holds direct reports and employees accountable for meeting or exceeding quality standards and goals.
- Continues improvements toward excellence in revenue cycle management functions.
- Recruits, motivates, develops, and retains a superior functional leadership team.
- Implements a management system that is outcome focused, encourages efficiency and automation, and drives improvements.
- Oversees revenue cycle management operational areas for the following:
- Centralized billing functions and revenue management, cash application and credit balance resolution;
- Accounts receivable management; insurance and patient billing and collections, denials and underpayment management;
- Charge capture, clinical documentation improvement and coding;
- Credentialing functions for providers, therapists, and facilities;
- Payer contracting and monitoring of reimbursement;
- Employer and industrial medicine billing functions
- Oversees revenue integrity by monitoring and educating on coding best practices.
- Maintains compliance areas for billing by coordinating with Compliance department to validate compliance with any governmental program that may impact
revenue cycle operations;
- Analyzes accounts receivable aging; recommends changes in course of action to increase yield and speed of collections. Also maintains reporting, monitoring
and analytics of key performance indicators with in the revenue cycle.
- Develops and maintains pricing strategy and fee schedules.
- Maintains confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA and other regulations.
- Works with operations and clinics to support continuous improvement in revenue cycle
What You Need for this Position
Required:
- Bachelor's or Higher in healthcare administration, finance, bus. administration or related field
- 3+ years in a Supervisory Role
Preferred:
- Master's Degree in Business Administration or Healthcare Administration
