My client is looking for a Mortgage Loan Originator to be responsible for achieving assigned production volume in new mortgage loan originations by developing business contacts and real estate broker relationships, cultivating internal and external referral sources, attracting new mortgage customers, and by providing a positive customer experience. You will also be responsible for assisting customers who are purchasing or refinancing a home, obtaining a second mortgage or home equity line of credit.
What You Need for this Position- College Degree in Business, Finance/Accounting or related field and 1-3 years of mortgage lending experience or High School Diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 3-5 years of mortgage lending experience
- Must have working knowledge of residential real estate procedures, as well as knowledge of related laws and compliance regulations.
- Appropriate lending licenses, as required. This position requires compliance with the S.A.F.E. Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 and all related regulations. (i.e. NMLS#)
- Valid Drivers License
- Bilingual speaking in Spanish/English desired
- Proven leadership in the areas of retail lending, sales & customer relationships
- Must have working knowledge of residential real estate procedures, as well as knowledge of related laws and compliance regulations.
