IT Support Specialist

What You Will Be Doing
In this role you will be supporting the IT teams efforts to improve company performance through effective tools and connectivity, by assisting existing team members with the installation, configuration, and administration of IT systems hardware and software related the day to day operations at all of our local area facilities.

In this role you will be directly supporting users, staff, and upper management of the organization, including supporting IT initiatives, day to day resolution of outstanding IT support tickets, general PC help desk support, Office 365 administration and maintenance, company software installations and assisting with other ongoing and future projects throughout.

Some of what you will perform on a daily basis, will include:
"Provide support for desktop computers and laptops
"Ability to troubleshoot broken desktop computers and laptops
"Create new users within an Active Directory environment
"Experience working with Windows Servers and knowledge of virtualization concepts
"Understanding concepts of computer networks and VLANS
"Ability to configure and deploy switches and wireless devices
"Install and configure network printers
"Update and troubleshoot iPads and other mobile devices
"Configure network shares and folder(s) with proper user permissions
"Assist in the launching of new IT projects and objectives
What You Need for this Position
"2-5 years of experience in IT support
"AT LEAST 1 or more years of ( as much of the following) :
oNETWORKING experience with Active Directory, VOIP telephony, LAN, TCP/IP, VNC, DHCP, DNS, VLAN, some Cisco and Juniper experience.
§VOIP experience would be a plus.
oOPERATING SYSTEMS Experience with Windows 7/10 Pro and IOS Devices (IPads)
oSW APPLICATIONS Experience with MS Office 365 (Word, Excel, Power Point), Outlook 2016, VOIP telephony systems, Google Chrome, Internet Explorer 11
We are looking for PROBLEM SOLVERS, with the proven ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical problems.
TOP NOTCH communication skills are A MUST!
"Good written and verbal communication required, with end-user at ALL LEVELS of technical understanding&Patience, a calm demeanor and an ability to convey questions/results to techie and NON techies alike, as you will be working in a corporate network environment not everyone is IT Savvy.
"Capable of working in a fast paced and demanding environment, with the ability to multi-task and work with little direction or direct supervision
"Willingness to take ownership of projects seeing them through to completion - Take the ball and run with it!
Occasional Travel within Orange County to support various locations will be required.
