Prepare estimates, bids and close sales of Commercial Roofing opportunities, including new roofs, re-roofs, and repairs to commercial and industrial customers.
Responsible for evaluating bid opportunities, preparing bids, proposals, repair estimates, service proposals and obtaining contract work through account management and networking.
Perform roof inspections, roof take-offs, roof evaluations and provide roofing solutions for our customers roofing needs.
Communicate effectively with the Estimating and Service teams to provide accurate information to ensure customer expectations are met.
This position will involve some overnight travel.
Ability to read and understand blue prints/drawings, plans and specifications.
Interact and communication with manufacturer representatives, vendors and subcontractors to obtain material pricing, quotes and system requirements.
Have strong math skills and an analytical mindset and thought process.
Excellent written and oral communication skills along with professional presentation skills.
Have the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Role requires follow up calls, active networking, referral research and participation in the Estimating department sales goals and overall company profitability,
Construction experience is required. Roofing experience is strongly preferred.
Proficient using Microsoft Office products, other estimating spreadsheet applications and drawing programs.
Inspections are a mandatory part of this position so candidate must have a valid drivers license and be able to setup and climb tall ladders on a repetitive basis.
Excellent customer service skills and ability to maintain a positive attitude.

To persons who are intelligent, enthusiastic, with the desire to be actively involved in the success of a large commercial roofing company. Bilingual English/Spanish is not required but is a plus.
