Customer Engineering Services (CES) has an immediate need for a Field Service technician with technical experience and customer service skills to fill a temp to perm position in the Berkley, MI market.
Qualified candidates should possess electro-mechanical skills and technical aptitude. You should be computer savvy, have a flexible schedule, and a track record of good customer relations skills. Our equipment weighs up to 65 lbs and will require lifting. Our technicians are required to drive extensively covering a large geographical area with occasional overnight stays so a valid driver’s license is required. Any company costs incurred during travel are paid.
CES is a professional field service company that installs and maintains technology-based products in the commercial and industrial printer markets. We count on our team to provide quality services to our clients and customers.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Each day you will travel to our customers to perform basic equipment and software installation, removal, preventative maintenance/cleaning, and project-related activities
Your organizational and time management skills will be essential in planning your visits.
You will use your written communication skills to complete various administrative tasks including daily service activity reports.
Your customer service skills will serve you well as you conduct customer training and complete each task with positive results.
High School Diploma or GED (formal training/technical school courses a plus)
Prior field maintenance experience (preferred)
Demonstrate good technical aptitude
Basic Computer and Mathematical Skills
Ability to adapt to ever-changing environments and work assignments
Excellent driving record
