Job Description

Custom Software Systems (CSS) Inc., is seeking a Senior Change Management Analyst to guide our client through adoption of enterprise-wide, cloud-based ERP platform rollout that will take place over multiple years. This highly experienced senior-level Change Management Analyst will join an executive oversight team tasked with implementing a major business automation and transformation effort. The Senior Change Management Analyst utilize expert-level change management, organization development, training, and communications expertise to ensure successful adoption of an enterprise-wide, cloud-based ERP platform to roll out over multiple years. Working closely with the Talent Management/Organization Development and Learning (TM/ODL) leadership team and others, this culture change opportunity includes an unprecedented level of process and operational enhancements in the finance, procurement, and human resources areas.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide senior level change management expertise and thought leadership as a member of the steering committee
  • Overall responsibility for the creation and execution of the Change Management strategy to include Organizational Readiness, Training, and Communications
  • Act as the Change Lead that will leverage knowledge and liaise with the TM/ODL Lead as well as the Transformation Owners to guide and direct the Implementation Consultant (IC) change management activities
  • Work in lockstep with the TM/ODL leadership team to ensure assessments, strategies and interventions are appropriate for the client’s culture, both enterprise-wide and at the division and functional levels
  • Work with TM/ODL and program leadership to identify the Change Network; responsible for facilitating Change Network tasks
  • Review/approve the IC change management deliverables; work closely with the IC and the CMW to operationalize change tasks according to the implementation plan
  • Build strong relationships with and help engage key program stakeholders, executives, managers, subject matter experts, vendors, and others to ensure the change management plan is meeting division, and functional area needs
  • Contribute/Review/Approve the Change Management Communications and Training plans in partnership with the TM/ODL leadership team and with input from the CMW, Transformation Owners, and other key stakeholders
  • Work closely with the communications team to maintain the Communication Plan and develop and deliver the communication materials
  • Analyze assessment, evaluation, key milestones, and other data to ensure overall change plan is effective and that resistance is mitigated

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • US Citizen
  • At least six (6) years’ experience in developing, implementing or evaluating IT change management policies, procedures, and configuration management plans
  • At least five (5) years’ experience in NIST and FISMA compliance background, experience developing, implementing, or evaluating security policies and procedures, system security plans, security audit plans, security audit plans, and security risk assessment plans
  • At least five (5) years’ experience working on cyber security engagements with the federal government
  •  At least six (6) years of communications and change management, transformation experience; prefer experience with large consulting firm
  • At least two (2) full lifecycle change management projects experience
  • Demonstrate success in leading complex and multi-level culture change typically associated with the implementation of large-scale business transformation efforts
  • Minimum 15 years exemplary change management/organization development experience to include thought leadership and management of large-scale change projects, preferably automation/technology projects
  • Experience with successfully mitigating resistance
  • Prior experience with assessing, qualifying, and implementing communications plans that affect large populations of employees
  • Demonstrated ability to develop, communicate, and execute large-scale change management plans, preferably ones driven by technology change
  • Demonstrated experience assessing, qualifying, and implementing training plans at the enterprise and functional levels. Ability to provide informed insight into reskilling and upskilling plans
  • Demonstrated experience utilizing a wide range of change and Organization Development (OD) tools to mitigate change resistance
  • Ability to successfully build strong relationships with key stakeholders and groups across all levels of the organization; ability to win over resistors and engage executives, managers, and others
  • Experience successfully assessing change/OD needs for a broad range of groups, applying and implementing a wide range of appropriate change and OD tools, theories and models; ability to quickly adapt tools and theories as circumstances require
  • Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience working cross culturally

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP)
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
  • Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL Foundation or Practitioner)
  • Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
  • Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
  • Certified Authorization Professional (CAP)
  • PMI Project Management Professional (PMP)
  • Extensive experience leading change and communication efforts for multiple global, complex technology implementations (e.g., ERP, CRM, Shared Service implementations)
  • Extensive understanding of change principles and methodologies with the ability to define a flexible, unique approach based on the business team and working environment
  • Experience leading and executing against a complex, comprehensive communications plan
  • Track record of delivering major business change programs including executive alignment and stakeholder management
  • Experience working as a single-change and communications project resource, and as a lead of a small-change management team
  • Strong relationship management skills with a proven track record
  • Highly developed communication skills with expertise in producing organization-wide communications and development of a communication strategy
  • Experience with project management approaches, tools, and phases of the project lifecycle
  • Mastery of Microsoft applications (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Excel)

EDUCATION:

  • A bachelor’s degree and eight (8) years of relative experience, OR
  • A master’s degree and six (6) year of relative experience, OR
  • At least 15 years of relative experience in an IT field in lieu of a degree
