Industrial Electrician - Must be a licensed Electrician

Job Summay:
The purpose of the industrial electrician is to test, troubleshoot, install, and/or repair the electrical components of the facility.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work as a team member or alone to complete projects.
- Observe safety procedures and meet electrical codes.
- Make decisions based on technical documents.
- Read and understand the National Electrical Code, schematics, blueprints and other technical documents.
- Plans layout of wiring and installs wiring, conduit, and electrical apparatus in buildings.
- Troubleshoot AC/DC motors & circuits, VFD’s, PLC’s
- Diagnose malfunctioning apparatus such as transformers, motors, and lighting fixtures and replace damaged or broken wires and cables.
- Replace faulty electrical components of machine such as relays, switches, motors, and positions sensing devices.
- Diagnose and repair or replace faulty electronic components, such as printed circuit boards.
- Program crane pendant controller for automated machinery to operate, test for malfunctions, and verify repairs.
Qualifications:
- Must be a licensed electrician.
- Completion of a four year electrical apprenticeship program accredited and approved by the United States Department of Labor.
- One year spent as a journeyman electrician or the completion of an apprenticeship program.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Motivated self-starter who can manage projects and make decisions.
- Willing to perform physically demanding tasks, such as lift heavy objects, climbing ladders, crawling, etc.
- Must be willing and flexible to do overtime for coverage even on short notice.
- Basic computer skills
- Must be able to pass pre-employment background and drug screening
