Manufacturing Construction Senior Project Manager

Currie & Brown is currently looking for a senior manufacturing construction project manager for our east coast region. The successful candidate, who will be assigned to the Pittsuburgh area and will be expected to work in various locations.

Responsibilities for the successful candidate will include:

  • Supporting, and reporting to, the regional managing director
  • Supporting the operation of the respective sectors/services in the region
  • Delivering profit and revenue targets by maximizing staff productivity
  • Assuming responsibility for quality and productivity of delivered services
  • Supporting and delivering the regional growth plan financially and geographically
  • Representing and supporting appropriate business, industrial and professional events
  • Promoting and selling the services of Currie & Brown Inc
  • Ensuring the well being of the staff resource
  • Delivering the annual budget
  • Promoting and organizing training to develop staff to meet growth plan
  • Undertaking responsibility for employee coaching and development for succession planning
  • Assisting with staff recruitment to deliver commissions and grow the business in line with the regional plan
  • Working and coordinating with other regional managers to ensure that the consistent, cost-effective and efficient utilization of Currie & Brown resources is achieved across the company
  • Ensuring timely billing of clients and assisting in collecting invoiced amounts
  • Proposing bonus allocation and salary reviews
  • Managing and developing existing client relationships within the region
  • Recommending new clients and pursuits
  • Maintaining and managing current clients
  • Empowering the regional management team to build and develop client relationships
  • Ensuring the financial planning, control and reporting
  • Submitting regular reports as directed by the management board of Currie & Brown Inc

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related technical and/or business discipline
  • A minimum of 15 years’ construction management experience, including 5 years in a managerial role
  • Professional registration in field of practice preferred
  • Strong management, organizational and communication skills
  • Outstanding interpersonal and relationship building skills with a dedication to developing lasting client partnerships (internally and externally) and to maximizing employee engagement
  • Self-driven, collaborative in nature and articulate
  • An energetic and enthusiastic coach and mentor driven by diverse and challenging projects, with an ability to recognize and develop talent
  • Comfortable with corporate structure and the associated administrative and reporting requirements
  • Knowledge and experience of executing projects and programs within the planning, engineering, procurement and construction delivery phases
  • Deemed a subject matter expert in their discipline
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Agile and responsive to changing demands
  • Proven track record of growth and business management
  • Flexibility to work locally and remotely
  • Understanding of current information technology
