Curiosity is looking for an experienced customer relationship manager to be the critical connection point between our streaming service and our subscribers. You will own the end-to-end email, in-app, and push notification CRM efforts across a variety of platforms to engage subscribers across their entire lifecycle. You’ll maintain a direct pulse on what subscribers want by monitoring and responding to feedback channels, then creating and executing campaigns that test hypotheses to help drive engagement, retention, and growth. This role will sit on the Product team, meaning you will work closest with the UX/UI, data science, and engineering teams, and be the link to stakeholders from the marketing and creative teams, as well.

CRM campaign efforts:
Implement strategic growth initiatives focused on subscriber lifecycle & engagement, including but not limited to: engagement and retention email campaigns, marketing email campaigns, welcome and winback drips, and transactional emails
Drive all steps of all CRM campaigns, including but not limited to: strategic conceptualizing, requirements gathering, creative approach and optimizations, building, segmenting, testing, monitoring, automating, reporting, and analyzing
Lead conceptualizing, creating, and managing retention and engagement initiatives via automated and personalized email/push/in-app campaigns
Optimize lead generation emails, welcome drips, and transactional communication
Launch new push notifications and in-app messaging campaigns
Develop a rigorous incentive and content testing agenda across lifecycle campaigns
Create and monitor complex journeys, triggers, and automations with static and dynamic content
Monitor and facilitate subscriber feedback loops
Drive Curiosity’s value during each step of the subscriber lifecycle with emphasis on engagement and retention, while advocating for the needs of the subscriber
Ensure campaigns (including tests, segmentation, and complex personalization logic) are set up and deployed accurately in a timely manner
Work on a supported team-of-one to drive results
3+ years of hands-on experience managing CRM programs from conception through analysis. Experience in media and/or subscription products is a plus.
Customer-centric, creative, problem solver, committed to delivering delightful on-brand experiences
Creative eye and eager to try new campaigns
Design and copy skills to bring a vision to life
Experience leveraging a complex marketing automation/CRM system like Braze
Proficient in HTML and ESPs like Braze
Deep knowledge in customer segmentation, list management, deliverability, and CAN-SPAM laws
Passion for data-driven marketing and building programs that drive incremental results
Excellent analytical and quantitative skills
Exceptional project management skills, experience running multiple competing projects with conflicting deadlines, and strong attention to detail
